Raoul Peck's documentary "I Am Not Your Negro" was nominated for an Oscar for Best Documentary Feature. Last night it lost that category to another documentary about race, "O.J.: Made in America."
The film is based on the work of essayist, novelist, and social critic James Baldwin, he is credited as the writer of the film. The Counter Stories hosts recently saw the documentary and sat down to talk about its power and its message.
