Today's Morning Edition music is from "Too Much" by Elvis Presley, which was No. 1 on the Billboard pop chart 60 years ago.

Scotty Moore, who played guitar on this track, told an interviewer that the song is in a strange key, and as a result he got lost while playing the guitar solo on this take.

But when they listened to the playback, Elvis liked the unusual sound of Moore's solo, so it was this take that was released as the single.
