Damage reports
Reports of damage and possible injuries near Chetek, Wisconsin are coming into the MPR News newsroom and flying on social media this evening.
Reports say the tornado may have hit a mobile home park in the area. Chetek is about 70 miles east of the Twin Cities.
Large hail
The storms dropped massive hailstones as they blew across Minnesota and Wisconsin.
It takes storm updrafts around 100 mph to produce hail this big.

The next wave of thunderstorms approaches from the south around or after midnight.
