A Brooklyn Park man has been found guilty of fatally shooting another man from an apartment window. A Hennepin district judge issued the verdict Tuesday.
After the one-week bench trial, Judge Tanya Bransford convicted Bradley of second-degree murder and a charge of felon in possession of a gun.
Prosecutors say Daquan Bradley, 27, shot and killed Mario McGee, also 27, from a Minneapolis apartment window on June 30, 2016.
Officials say McGee arrived at the apartment of his former girlfriend when Bradley and another man shoved McGee into the hallway and began beating him. Surveillance footage showed McGee's former girlfriend trying to stop the fight.

Witnesses saw McGee run from the building and drop to the ground as the bullet struck him.
Another witness in the former girlfriend's apartment heard a gun go off followed by a woman yelling, "Oh my God, you just shot him."
Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said that the amount of time between Bradley forcing McGee from the apartment to firing the shot was enough for Bradley to form the premeditated thought required for first-degree murder conviction. But Judge Bransford acquitted him of that charge.
Bradley's criminal history makes his recommended sentence over 31 years in prison under Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines, but prosecutors are hoping he receives the higher end of the recommended sentencing range, or 35 years.
