Hours after a gas leak triggered an explosion that devastated its upper school campus and killed two people, members of the Minnehaha Academy community gathered in a chapel on its lower school campus.

At one point during the service, school president Donna Harris took to the front of the crowd, still wearing a hospital band around her wrist, and sang.
