The Minnesota Twins may have found another effective starting pitcher. Rookie Aaron Slegers made a strong debut with the team Thursday night in a big 4-2 win against division rival Cleveland.

The Minnesota Lynx try to halt a rare losing streak when they play the Indiana Fever at the Xcel Energy Center Friday night.

And the Vikings take on the Seattle Seahawks in their next preseason game, which is also Friday night but on the road in Seattle.
