Today's Morning Edition music is from the Minnesota Orchestra with the YL Male Choir from the University of Helsinki performing "Finlandia."
It's a track from a recording that was released earlier this year featuring music by composer Jean Sibelius.
The Minnesota Orchestra will be putting on a free outdoor show Tuesday night in Commons Park near U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. And this weekend they'll be doing a couple of concerts at Orchestra Hall featuring music by Sibelius and other Finnish composers in honor of the 100th anniversary Finland's independence.
