Minn. catching up on water recycling as groundwater supply shrinks

A 27,000 gallon cistern designed to hold rainwater sits empty for the winter inside CHS Field. The rainwater harvesting system collects water that falls on the roof of the facilities, then treats it and uses it for irrigation and toilet flushing.
