Thursday at 1:30 p.m. you can watch Caitlyn Smith perform at the South By Southwest festival on a livestream at thecurrent.org.

Smith grew up in Cannon Falls, Minn., and moved to Nashville where she became a successful songwriter. Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers have all recorded her songs.

Recently Smith decided she wanted to perform the songs she wrote. One of those songs is about her teenage years. It's called "St. Paul."
