Rocori school district superintendent Scott Staska was arrested Wednesday on misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure.
Staska was captured on video exposing himself to employees at a Kwik Trip store in Waite Park early Sunday morning, according to Waite Park police. Police said Staska had repeated the behavior at least four times prior to this week in incidents dating back to early December 2017.
In a news release, police said they have no information that any minors were present during any of the exposure incidents.
Staska has led the Rocori school district — named for Rockville, Cold Spring, and Richmond, the Stearns County towns it serves — since 2002, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Earlier this week, Staska was announced as a finalist for the Moorhead Area Public Schools superintendent job. Interviews for that position were scheduled to take place Friday and Saturday.
Rocori school board chair Kara Habben said the district is cooperating with the police investigation and Staska is on paid administrative leave.
Correction (March 22, 2018) Due to an editing error, a headline on an earlier version of this story indicated Staska had been charged. He's been arrested.
