Minnesota's first elected female sheriff is hanging up her holster soon. Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi announced last week that she'll retire when her fourth term is up at the end of this year.
She was first elected sheriff in 2002.
Amazi spoke with MPR News host Cathy Wurzer about her long career in law enforcement, and what comes next.
