Hunting for Easter fun? Here's where to find egg hunts and brunch this weekend

Egg Hunts

Best Egg Hunt of Passion Church, Sunday, April 1.

Head to the Best Egg Hunt, with three sessions at Maple Grove, and two sessions at Fridley. Registration is required, and it's recommended that you arrive 15 minutes early.

Easter Egg Hunt at Edgerton Community Gym, Saturday, March 31 in Maplewood.

Cost is $5 per person. Easter egg hunt activities begin at 11 a.m. for children ages 3 to 5 years old, and 11:30 a.m. for kids 6 to 8 years old. Pre-hunt activities start at 10 a.m. Pre-registration is required.

Bunny Brunch and Big Egg Hunt at Sibley Park, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31 in Minneapolis.

A 'bunny brunch' is served from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with pancakes, sausages, fruit, coffee and juice, and free activities include arts and crafts, games and a magic show. $7 per adult and $5 per child for the brunch, but activities are free.

Audobon Park Bunny Party, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31 in Minneapolis.

For children ages 6 and under. Includes an egg hunt, arts and crafts and a continental breakfast. The egg hunt begins at 11 a.m. sharp. Cost is $6 per child. Registration before 9 a.m. on March 30. There will be a treat bag for the first 200 children who register. You can register online.

James J. Hill House egg hunt, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31 in St. Paul.

This hunt is for children ages 2 to 7 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The hunt will take place outside on the lawn of the James J. Hill House. Participation is $8, but children ages 2 and under are free and members of the Minnesota historical society save 20 percent.

Easter Eggstravaganza, March 30 and 31 at 10 a.m., at the Children's Museum at Yunker Farm in Fargo, N.D.

Visitors can meet the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs and enjoy arts and crafts, including dying eggs. The museum opens at 10 a.m. but hunts will be held at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. — there will be treats.

6th Annual Egg Hunt at Red Barn Learning Farm, in Hayfield on March 31, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

An Easter egg hunt, along with ample opportunity to see and pet baby animals at the farm's petting zoo. Visitors can pack their own lunch or purchase one from the lunch wagon on site. Tickets are $7.

Easter Egg-Stravaganza, March 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth.

There will be an egg hunt and coloring contest, with the Easter Bunny overseeing the festivities, and available for selfies. Animals will be getting their own Easter treats. Advance tickets are $9 for adults, $4 for kids. If you buy tickets the day of the price is $10 for adults, $5 for kids.

Easter Egg Hunt With The Easter Bunny, March 31, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Cloud Country Club.

Egg hunts will be broken up by age group: 1-4, 5-8 and 9-12. The eggs found on the grounds can be turned in to receive a goody bag. There's also a special "golden egg" for each age group that can be exchanged for another prize.

Surly Easter Brunch, April 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Surly Brewing in Minneapolis.

A breakfast buffet with the full lineup up Surly bears on tap. Advance tickets are already sold out but you can buy a ticket there: Adults $35; children 6-12 are $15 and kids 5 and under eat for free. There will also be an egg hunt, complete with a "guy in an Easter Bunny suit."

Just brunch

Bellisio's Italian restaurant and wine bar in Duluth, March 30 through April 1, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This restaurant will be serving up $14.99 food specials, $1.99 bellinis and mimosas and $4.99 Tuscan blueberry lemon toast.

The Boiler Room 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 1 in Fargo, N.D.

You can make reservations in advance. Adults pay $18.95 kids under 12 eat for $8.95.

Cafe Lurcat in Minneapolis, April 1, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A family-style brunch priced at $35 for adults, $12 for kids 12 years old and younger. There will also be a craft station for kids. Call the restaurant to make a reservation.

Jack and Jim's in Duelm, April 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A buffet will be served at Jack & Jim's event center, no reservations required. Entry is $14.95 for adults $8.95 for children 10 and under.
