An impressive line of storms dumped heavy rain and produced wind damage around parts of Minnesota Monday evening. The storms stretched all the way from the Iron Range all the way into Iowa.
The storm line produced an 82 mph wind gust in Red Wing.
Heavy rains triggered flash flood warnings from near Hinckley northeast into Wisconsin.
Cool front ahead
A cool front sweeps through Minnesota with cooler drier weather in tow. We may see a few lingering showers Tuesday morning, but skies will clear and highs in the 70s arrive.
Next week looks warmer as we open September.
