We've already seen some downpours in Minnesota and western Wisconsin Tuesday afternoon, and much more rain is on the way Tuesday evening and overnight.

While the highest flash flood potential appears to be over portions of south-central and southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin, parts of the Twin Cities metro area could also see some flash flooding.

The Storm Prediction Center of the National Weather Service shows a slight risk of severe weather Tuesday and Tuesday night over much of southeastern Minnesota and west-central and southwestern Wisconsin:
