It's been 50 years since the Beatles recorded the song "Savoy Truffle."
George Harrison wrote the song, and said in an interview that it was inspired by his friend Eric Clapton's love of sweet treats. Clapton had just come back from an appointment with his dentist, who told him he had to give up candy.
The song describes what would happen if Clapton didn't follow that advice. "Savoy Truffle" was one of several candy names that Harrison incorporated into the song. He found many of those names on the label of a box of Mackintosh's Good News chocolates.
