We have 12 years to fix our climate before global warming's impacts get much worse.
That's the gist of this week's new Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report, which calls for a 45 percent cut in greenhouse gas emissions to stave off major climate impacts.
John Abraham, a professor of thermal sciences at The University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, explains whether such an emissions cut is possible and what the climate may look like come 2030.
