Singer-songwriter Mikaela Davis has been playing the harp since elementary school, and she went to college with plans to become a symphony harpist. Along the way, the Rochester, N.Y., native decided she wanted to play her own compositions with a small band.

Davis plays the 7th St Entry in Minneapolis Tuesday night.
