All the charges have been dropped against Jazmine Headley, the woman who waited for nearly four hours to renew daycare vouchers in a New York City agency office that didn't have enough chairs.

That's an unsatisfying end to an outrageous event in which Ferguson was, basically, assaulted by police officers. Her crime? She was sitting on the floor.

"The security guard, I guess she came over and told her she couldn't sit there," witness Nyashia Ferson, who took the video, told CBS. "So she's like, 'Where am I going to sit?' She was like, 'I guess you're going to just have to stand.' She said, 'Well, I'm not going to stand with my son. She was like, 'What is the crime? What did I do wrong?' And then it just escalated."

This is the burden of poverty: Four-hour waits for daycare vouchers so you can keep your job. No sitting.

Eric Gonzalez, the Brooklyn district attorney, dropped all the charges today.

She remained jailed on Tuesday afternoon on a warrant after she missed a New Jersey court appearance on a misdemeanor charge, the New York Times reported.
