Jury deliberations continue today in the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor.
The case went to the jury on Monday after closing arguments by the prosecution and defense. Jurors are deciding whether to convict Noor in the 2017 shooting death of 911 caller Justine Ruszczyk.
Noor faces three separate charges: second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. MPR News host Cathy Wurzer talked to University of Minnesota Law School professor JaneAnne Murray to learn more about the charges the jury is considering.
