There has been some movement on the effort to pass legislation providing relief for Minnesotans who can't afford insulin.

According to the governor's office, the cost of insulin has tripled over the last decade. The deal still needs the support of legislative leaders, and a funding mechanism.

To learn more, MPR News host Cathy Wurzer talked with state Sen. Matt Little, DFL-Lakeville, who has been leading the effort on the legislation.
