Ken Burns’ new 16-hour documentary series on country music continues Monday night on PBS. As a companion to that project, Pioneer Public Television has produced its own piece, called “Country Music: Made in Minnesota.” It profiles some of the figures who have made country music in Minnesota over the years.

MPR News host Cathy Wurzer talked with the host and producer of the Minnesota documentary, former KARE-11 news anchor Diana Pierce. The piece will air several more times on Pioneer Public Television, including Monday at 1 p.m.
