The Minnesota Twins are the champions of the American League Central division. They clinched the division with a 5-1 win over the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday night, coupled with a loss by Cleveland.

Meanwhile, the Loons came from behind to beat Kansas City 2-1 at Allianz Field, earning a spot in the Major League Soccer playoffs for the first time.
