St. Paul police say there were six drug overdoses in the city in the span of a few hours this weekend.
The police department said in a Facebook post Saturday that investigators suspect in some cases, people thought they were using cocaine, but it's possible fentanyl or another drug was mixed in.
KARE-TV reports that the six overdoses happened over a 2 1/2-hour period. The incidents prompted police to issue an alert to remind the public people can't be prosecuted for seeking help for someone who overdoses.
