Cautious Clay performs Monday night at Fine Line Music Café in Minneapolis.

Cautious Clay only quit his full-time job in advertising a couple years ago but he’s already played at NPR’s tiny desk and collaborated with John Mayer and Taylor Swift.

Swift sampled the beat from Cautious Clay’s “Cold War” in her song "London Boy" on her latest album “Lover.” Unfortunately, Swift doesn’t have any stops planned in Minnesota in the near future.
