Our average Twin Cities high temperature is now 41 degrees. We’ll probably reach the lower 40s for our afternoon high today.
Sunday highs are expected to reach the lower 40s across much of southern Minnesota plus west-central Wisconsin, with mostly 30s elsewhere:
Winds will be fairly light, and Sunday afternoon wind chills are expected to be in the 20s north with 30s for the metro area and southern Minnesota:

Some snow is expected to move into parts of northwestern Minnesota late Sunday afternoon, then spread during Sunday evening and overnight Sunday night across much of the northern third of Minnesota plus northwestern Wisconsin. The snow will also spread into parts of central Minnesota by Monday morning.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern Sunday afternoon through Monday morning:
The Twin Cities metro area may see some snow showers or a mix of rain showers and snow showers Monday morning. We may also see some scattered sprinkles Monday afternoon.
