We have been getting periodic reports this spring from Minnesota wildflower chasers Phyllis Root and Kelly Povo, telling us where to hunt for wildflowers as the weather warms.
Their latest dispatch is from Zumbro Falls Woods Scientific and Natural Area in southeastern Minnesota, where their finds included jeweled shooting stars (yes, those are wildflowers!)
Root and Povo are the authors of “Searching for Minnesota’s Native Wildflowers.”
