Minnesota’s regular legislative session is set to end on Monday. With much still up in the air, one thing is certain: this has not been the session that lawmakers were expecting when they convened earlier this year.
For retiring lawmakers, the coronavirus pandemic has meant an especially head-spinning conclusion to their legislative careers.
MPR News host Cathy Wurzer spoke with two long-serving members of the Minnesota House, Rep. Bud Nornes, R-Fergus Falls, and Rep. Jean Wagenius, DFL-Minneapolis, about this session, and their time serving in the state legislature.
