Parts of northwestern Minnesota saw some severe thunderstorms late Sunday afternoon. Additional severe weather is possible in northwestern Minnesota Sunday evening and into the overnight hours of Sunday night.
The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a tornado watch which continues until 10 p.m. this Sunday in eastern North Dakota and much of northwestern Minnesota:
Severe weather, including large hail, damaging thunderstorm winds and tornadoes will be possible in and close to the watch area.

Scattered thunderstorms may linger into Monday morning in parts of northern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin. Another batch of storms could develop in western and northern Minnesota late Monday.
Steamy Monday
Our average Twin Cities high temp is 77 this time of year. We hit 85 degrees at MSP International Airport Sunday afternoon, and some spots in the metro area could reach 95 degrees Monday afternoon.
Monday highs will be in the 90s in much of southern and central Minnesota and parts of the northwest, with mainly 80s elsewhere:

Cooler temps the remainder of the week
Twin Cities metro area highs are projected to hit around 80 degrees on Tuesday, followed by lower 70s Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The NHC issued updates every few hours, and the New Orleans/Baton Rouge office of the National Weather Service is another good source of Cristobal-related info.
Notice the remnants of Cristobal will track over Wisconsin and Lake Superior in a few days. It’s rare to have a post-tropical system move over Lake Superior:
Heavy rain Tuesday and Tuesday night
It looks like some remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal will track over Wisconsin and parts of eastern Minnesota Tuesday and Tuesday night. Here’s the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale (NAM) forecast model for Tuesday and Tuesday evening:
