A bit warmer and breezy. Scattered t-storms possible in some areas

Dew points creep up

Our average high temperature this time of year is 84 degrees in the Twin Cities. We only made it to 80 Wednesday at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Most of the metro area will probably top out in the mid 80s this Thursday.

Thunder chances

Occasional scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible in northern and central Minnesota plus northwestern Wisconsin this Thursday and Thursday evening. The Twin Cities metro area could be near the southern edge of those scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon/early evening.

The NWS Storm Prediction Center shows a marginal risk (shaded dark-green) of severe weather today and tonight for much of northern and central Minnesota plus the northern part of the Twin Cities metro area into northwestern Wisconsin:
