The latest official NHC track cone steers Isaias through the Bahamas toward Florida’s east coast this weekend.
Intensity
Isaias is currently forecast to be a high-end tropical storm with 70 mph sustained winds as it likely strafes the southeast U.S. coast this weekend. But hurricane intensity forecasts are highly variable. And with Isaias over the warm water of the Gulf Stream, greater intensification is a possibility.
