Windows open Minnesota.

A refreshingly dry and pleasant air mass is blowing in early this week. Dew points have dropped from the steamy 70s late last week to the cozy 50s across most of Minnesota. Minnesota enjoys the benefits of a much drier air mass sailing southward from Canada. The sticky dew points in the 60s and 70s have been pushed southward.

Tropical air mass returns

Enjoy the respite from the humidity. Southerly winds return by Wednesday. The sticky air mass blows northward once again. Watch as a tongue of higher dew points works northward into Minnesota as the week deepens.
