Summery weather is lingering into October this year.
Highs reach the mid- and upper 70s to lower 80s again Tuesday across southern and western Minnesota. Cooler 60s hang tough in northeast Minnesota.
High fire danger
The combination of warm air, highs winds, and low humidity means dry fuels will burn rapidly Tuesday if fires ignite. Red flag warnings are up for southern and western Minnesota and the Dakotas.
