Political analyst Amy Walter sized up the appeal of the presidential candidates, the polls and the major issues in the 2020 presidential election, at an event hosted remotely by the St. Olaf College Institute for Freedom and Community.
The St. Olaf series is called “The Presidential Election and a Nation in Crisis: Polarization, Pandemic, and Prejudice.”
On Monday night, Amy Walter of the non-partisan Cook Political Report was the featured speaker. She is also the host of “Politics with Amy Walter” on the Friday Takeaway, heard nationwide on public radio and on MPR News Fridays at noon and 9 p.m.
The interviewer was professor Edmund Santurri, Morrison family director of the Institute for Freedom and Community at St. Olaf College.
