This feels like November again. Areas of fog are expected Saturday evening and overnight Saturday night. A mix of drizzle and rain will spread over much of Minnesota and western Wisconsin Saturday evening, mixing with snowflakes in northern Minnesota.
As colder air moves in later Saturday evening, the rain/snow mix is expected to transition to mostly snow in northern Minnesota, with some 1-2 inch amounts possible in northeastern Minnesota and parts of northwestern Wisconsin by Sunday morning:
Because the transition to a rain/snow mix or all snow occurs later to the south, the Twin Cities metro area is expected to see only minor accumulations or a coating late Saturday night.
There could be lingering snow showers in northeastern Minnesota and parts of western Wisconsin Sunday morning, with a few stray flurries in the remainder of Minnesota.
