Weekend speed bump

A weak cool front slides south across Minnesota Friday. But even that front will just drop temperatures a few degrees closer to average through this weekend. And another warm front slides in Sunday.

The average high and low for the Twin Cities this weekend are 30 and 16 degrees.

Even milder next week?

The overall weather pattern continues to favor above-average temperatures for most of next week. In fact, next week could be even warmer than this week.

The upper air forecast favors another mild Pacific flow as the jet stream lifts north into Canada once again.
