It was a big weekend for college hockey fans in Minnesota.
The University of Minnesota Duluth set a league record on Saturday night for the longest game in NCAA tournament history. The Bulldogs beat North Dakota 3-2 in a game that stretched into the early hours of Sunday morning.
Two more Minnesota teams — Minnesota State Mankato and St. Cloud State — also advanced to the Frozen Four.
