Daylight in the Twin Cities reached 14 hours, 42 minutes and 42 seconds Tuesday.

One enjoyable feature of these peak summer daylight months is the long evening light. Sunset in the Twin Cities and most of Minnesota is 8:30 p.m. or later through Aug. 7. That makes for plenty of time after typical workday hours to get out and enjoy the brighter evenings.
