Temperatures return to the 80s across most of Minnesota as we head into the weekend. And southwest Minnesota picks up another shot of mostly welcome rainfall Friday.
An upper air disturbance will trigger some potentially strong thunderstorms across southwest Minnesota Friday. NOAA’s NAM 3 km resolution model (above) paints the developing thunder clusters, which will track mainly southwest of the Minnesota River.
There is a marginal risk for a few severe storms across southwest Minnesota Friday.
