NWS survey confirms 3 Friday morning tornadoes in south metro

A storm survey team from the National Weather Service confirmed that there were 3 tornadoes early Friday morning in the south metro; one tornado in Scott County and two tornadoes in Dakota County. The NWS confirmed that there was also a tornado in Sibley county early Friday morning.

A quiet Saturday
We aren’t expecting any thunderstorms in Minnesota or western Wisconsin this Saturday. Highs will be in the 70s in most locations, with 60s in northeastern Minnesota:
It’ll be breezy by afternoon in western Minnesota.
