Fall is here. We’re turning the corner into late September now.
Our weather pattern over the next week brings mostly pleasant weather, plus a little late September cold front just to remind us of the season.
Beautiful Thursday
Thursday brings another spectacular weather day to Minnesota. Highs reach the 70s again over most of Minnesota. Cooler by your favorite Great Lake.
Cold front Friday
A cold front sweeps through Minnesota Friday. You’ll notice the cooler northwest wind Friday and a few possible passing rain showers. NOAA’s 2.5-day surface maps show the front pushing in Friday as cooler high pressure builds in for Saturday.

Highs Friday and Saturday hover in the cooler 60s south with some 50s up north.
Milder Sunday into early next week
Sunday will be the warmer day of the weekend. Highs push back into the 70s once again.
The warmth will linger into early next week. I could see a few spots in southern and western Minnesota, and possibly the Twin Cities, hitting 80 degrees once again on Monday.
The early read on next week suggests cooler and wetter weather late next week.
