There was plenty of snow on the ground for sledding and cross-country skiing on Saturday.
The official tally from our Friday/Friday night snowstorm was 11.8 inches at MSP airport. Double-digit totals were found in much of the south and east metro, with much lower snow totals to the north and northwest.
This is how the NWS 24-hour snow map looked on Saturday:

A few additional snow totals from the Friday/Friday night storm have been posted by the National Weather Service.

You can hover over any data point on the linked NWS snowfall map to see the location and time of the snow measurement. You can also slide the map to see snow reports in other parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Not all the snow reports are storm totals; sometimes a report comes in before the snow has ended. If you happen to go to the NWS link on Sunday, change the slider at the top to 48 hours to include all of the Friday reports.
The NWS has also posted a detailed county by county snowfall listing.
