Snow has spread across most of the southern half of Minnesota and portions of Wisconsin today. It will continue through the late afternoon and early evening in many areas, including the Twin Cities. Metro area snow totals of 1 to 2 inches are possible.
Parts of southeastern Minnesota could see around 3 inches of new snow before it tapers off late Thursday evening:
Lower snow totals are expected in central Minnesota. The snow will reduce visibilities and cause some slick roads, so allow extra time for your Thursday afternoon commute.
