Temperatures early Sunday morning are in the teens in the metro area and southern Minnesota, with a lot of single digits in northern Minnesota. A few spots in far northern Minnesota are below zero.
Sunday highs will be mainly in the 30s, with some 20s in northern Minnesota:
Some spots in the metro area could touch 34 degrees this afternoon. That’s cool; our average Twin Cities high is 47 this time of year.
Sunday afternoon wind gusts will be much lower than what we saw yesterday. Gusts will be mainly in the 9 to 14 mph range this afternoon:

Forecast wind gusts are in knots, with 10 knots equal to 11.5 mph.
Dry day
With high pressure nearby, the isobars will be much more spaced out than yesterday, so we’ll have much lighter winds. We aren’t expecting any rain or snow today.

Still plenty of snow up north
Snow lovers will be interested to know that there’s still plenty of snow on the ground in much of northern Minnesota. Here’s the weekly snow depth map from the Minnesota State Climatology Office:
Most of north-central and northeastern Minnesota has 12 inches or more of snow on the ground and parts of northeastern Minnesota (especially Cook County and eastern Lake County) have 24 inches or more of snow cover.
