According to climatologist Mark Seeley, models show a wide swath of moisture hitting the region next week bringing rain and snow across the state.

“Northern Minnesota may welcome [this storm] because they’re still trying to recover from last year’s drought,” he said.

Seeley joined MPR News host Cathy Wurzer on Morning Edition.
