Some places saw more than a coating of fresh snow yesterday into the overnight. Pelican Rapids saw 4.5 inches. Starbuck in west-central Minnesota saw 2.5 inches.
We have some lingering snow showers and clouds Monday morning as our latest system exits the region along with very chilly temperatures.
Expect a chilly day with highs only in the 30s and 40s again across the state.
Unfortunately, also in line with our trends is another windy day. Gusts will be as high as 40 to 45 mph.
This week will bring a transition to warmer temperatures finally by mid-to late week. We also have another wet week ahead, but not as a result of one big slow-moving storm system but rather two faster-moving systems that will bring ample moisture. The next one arrives Wednesday ahead of the warmer air.
