More strong to severe storms are possible Wednesday as dew points and temperatures rise again.
Moisture and heat fuel more possible severe weather
The heat and humidity are coming back Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday will once again be in the 80s for our third day in the row and counting in the Twin Cities.

Dew points will climb into the muggy 60s and even low 70s by Wednesday afternoon again across southern Minnesota. Morning showers and thunderstorms ahead of the warm front will largely fizzle out.
We’ll be looking to the southwest late Wednesday afternoon for more storms to develop in eastern South Dakota and Nebraska and then track east/northeast into southwest Minnesota. Those storms may not track into the Twin Cities area until late in the evening and overnight.

Storms could be strong to severe for some. An enhanced risk of severe storms includes much of southern Minnesota Wednesday.

More storms are possible Thursday
Late Thursday will bring another risk for severe storms.

We also have the potential for record-breaking heat. The record high temperature is 90 Thursday for the Twin Cities and we could beat that.
