Warmer, bright sunshine Friday
Temperatures are cool once again as skies cleared out overnight and led to some patchy fog. Thanks to the sunshine it will be much warmer Friday; well into the 70s for most of the state.
The weekend will bring even warmer temperatures; well into the 70s and 80s for most areas except right near Lake Superior. By Memorial Day we could see 90 in much of southern Minnesota, including the Twin Cities.
The big question all weekend will be the risk of thunderstorms as a very slow-moving, almost stalled area of low pressure and front tries to trek east.
