Good timing.

A line of slow-moving thunderstorms dumped some significant rainfall across several central Minnesota counties last night.

The soaking came at a good time and in a good spot. Much of central Minnesota has endured rainfall defects between 2 and 5 inches over the past two months.

Stressed crops got a good deep drink in many locations in the pie slice from the western Twin Cities west along Highway 212 and northwest along I-94. (rainfall map above)
