Dropping dew points Monday behind the storms
Thunderstorms rolled across much of Minnesota Sunday night ahead of a cool front and strong upper level low. A brief tornado was spotted near Prinsburg in Kandiyohi county. It was the second round of storms after Saturday night’s storms knocked down trees in parts of the southeast metro. EF-0 tornadoes were confirmed by the National Weather Service to have struck the Burnsville, Apple Valley, Eagan, West St. Paul areas as well as southern Ramsey county in St. Paul with maximum winds of 75 mph.

A 61 mph wind gust was clocked on the Minnesota State Fair grounds even Saturday night.
Dew points will drop through the day Monday in the wake of last night’s cool front.

It will be very breezy too from the west as the slightly cooler and much drier air moves in.

Gorgeous stretch of weather sets in
Sunshine with warm temperatures and comfortable air settles in for the rest of this week, possibly into the whole Labor Day weekend. More sun with comfortable conditions is expected Tuesday onward.
