Our wild weather weekend in parts of Minnesota has given way to a more tranquil air mass.
Monday’s fresh breezes are courtesy of a Canadian cool front. The good thing about cold fronts this time of year is that they rarely leave us shivering. Instead, they bring blue skies and comfortable dew points.
Dew points Monday are in the 50s across most of Minnesota after peaking at a tropical 72 degrees Sunday evening in the Twin Cities. Dew points will drop into the 40s in western Minnesota by Tuesday.

We’re also going to see some more comfortable nights for sleeping with open windows for those who enjoy that. Overnight lows will dip into the 50s across much of Minnesota, with the low temperature hovering around 60 degrees in the Twin Cities.
The color blue is returning to some weather maps.
Highs Monday through Wednesday will be in the 70s north and lower 80s across most of southern and western Minnesota.
